Donating Your Eggs

The Egg Donation Process

The donation process takes approximately two to three weeks, although there are several initial steps before starting. We will discuss the entire process with you in detail to ensure you fully understand the treatment pathway and that you are willing to proceed.

• Counseling is required to ensure that you understand the implications of donating your eggs and receive support from an independent counselor.
• You will undergo a comprehensive medical examination to assess your suitability.
• Once you are matched with a recipient, we can begin the donation cycle.

Hormonal Stimulation & Egg Retrieval

1. Ovarian Stimulation

1. • You will receive fertility medications to stimulate your ovaries.
   • These medications must be taken daily for 10–12 days.
   • Regular ultrasound scans will be performed to monitor your ovaries and the development of folliclescontaining the eggs.

2. Egg Collection Procedure

1. • Once your follicles are ready, we will schedule the egg retrieval procedure.
   • This is a quick, minimally invasive procedure performed in the clinic.
   • It usually takes less than 30 minutes and is conducted under sedation, so you will not feel pain.
