Dr. Aikaterini Stylianaki is a Plastic Surgeon and Hand Surgeon specializing in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.

After obtaining her degree with honors from the Medical School of Athens, Dr. Stylianaki specialized in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery in Lower Saxony, Germany. At the same time, she conducted her doctoral research at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, which resulted in her completing her PhD in 2020 with distinction.

During her training, Dr. Stylianaki specialized in Reconstructive Surgery, Aesthetic Surgery, Breast Reconstruction Surgery, Peripheral Nerve Surgery, Microsurgery, Ulcer Surgery, Dermatologic Surgery, Post-Bariatric Plastic Surgery, Hand Surgery, and Upper Limb Replantation. She received this training at the Plastic, Aesthetic, and Hand Surgery Clinic of Braunschweig Hospital, where she later served as a Senior Consultant in the Department of Plastic, Aesthetic, and Hand Surgery.

Dr. Stylianaki has also trained in major medical centers across Germany, including the Luxembourg Hospital Center, the Academic Hospital of Saarland University, the University Hospital of Essen, and the University Hospital of Göttingen. Her focus was on the treatment of Lymphedema and Lipedema, Brachial Plexus and Peripheral Nerve Surgery, as well as Reconstructive Surgery and Supermicrosurgery.

Beyond Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, she has also been trained in Plastic Surgery related to Traumatology, Endoprosthetics, Bone Defect Reconstruction, Induced Osteogenesis, Septic Surgery, and the Surgery and Traumatology of Upper Limb and Peripheral Nerve Conditions.

During her training, she participated in educational workshops and seminars on Rhinoplasty, including advanced techniques at the London Rhinoplasty Course 2019. She also attended practical seminars on the surgical treatment of severe burns and their management in the Intensive Care Unit at the Burn Center of Hannover University Hospital. Furthermore, she earned certification in Microsurgery (after oral and practical examinations on experimental models) as part of the educational program of the Microsurgery and Hand Surgery Department at the University Clinic of Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery at the Rechts an der Isar - TU Munich University Hospital.

Dr. Stylianaki is a strong advocate for lifelong learning. Since 2022, she has been a faculty member serving as a Scientific Collaborator, actively engaged in clinical, teaching, and research work in Plastic Surgery. Her main areas of interest include perineal and breast reconstruction following oncological surgeries. She is affiliated with the 1st Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens at Alexandra Hospital, as well as the 1st Surgical Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens at Hippocrates Hospital.
